Loan for Speciality Tea Industry

Development of Orthodox or Speciality Tea Production units in the North Eastern Region by providing financial assistance in the form of term loan for setting up/ expansion/ modernization / purchase of machinery and other equipments related to Orthodox or Speciality Tea Production for units registering with “Assam Tea Industries Special Incentives Scheme (ATISIS), 2020”.

Eligibility

Existing unit or proposed unit with date of commercial production before 31-03-2023.
Manufacturing unit of all the grades of Orthodox tea/Green tea/White tea/Oolong tea/Singhpo tea/Purple Tea/Yellow tea or other Speciality tea (not manufactured through CTC process) on or after 1st of April, 2020
Tea Board NOC/ Registration (as applicable)
Unit should be located in Assam
The unit should not have any default with any bank/ financial institution

Photo identity and Address proof : As per RBI defined KYC guidelines.
Business Proof : Trade License/MOA & AOA/GST Registration/ITR, Partnership Deed etc. as per applicability.Trade License/MOA & AOA/GST Registration/Income Tax Retrun, Partnership Deed and other documents as per applicability.
Additional documents may be collected during the loan application process as per actual requirement.

Security

First charge on current assets including book debts both present and future.
First charge/ hypothecation on the plant and machinery, misc. fixed assets, other movable assets created out of the loan both present and future.
Personal Guarantee of the Promoter (s)/ Guarantor(s).
Coverage under CGTMSE for all proposals / collateral security as required.
Applicable CGTSME fee (AGF/ASF) as applicable, to be borne by the promoter.

Other Terms & conditions

Extent of Assistance: Maximum 66.67% of the project cost
Promoter’s Contribution : Minimum of 33.33% of the Project Cost.
NOC from other bankers (existing) regarding exclusive lien on subsidy under ATISIS
